When Forty Four The Green was founded in 2018 we had a vision of not just creating superb, natural food and organic coffee, but of giving Clerkenwell something that was a real experience. This vision is still true today. The Forty Four The Green brand now provides catering services to many respected corporate organisations in the heart of London, and is the most recognised coffee shop in Clerkenwell.

As a business we aim to source and create great food in a stimulating and inspiring environment. We do this by supporting our staff with knowledge and training while working with local food producers in the community, sourcing great produce through sustainable food practices.

Our Ethos
Since our inception in 2018, Forty Four The Green’s mission has been simple: to serve freshly made food and good organic coffee, whilst also trying to do the right thing. That’s why our food is handmade in our coffee shop throughout the day and anything we don’t sell goes to charity. That’s also why our coffee is 100% organic (and always will be).
